3月11日に発生しました東日本大震災に際し、被災された皆様とご家族および関係者の方々に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

アジア口腔インプラント学会も25回目を迎えます。
今回もこの大変な時期にもかかわらず、日本をはじめとして、アジア各国のインプラント最前線の先生方にご参加いただき、盛大に開催されます事は、大会長　深井先生をはじめとする実行委員会の皆様のご尽力のおかげと思い、ここに感謝の意を表します。

ここ数年で、インプラントの技術革新は驚くべきものがあります。その情報交換の大切な場として、または、新しい技術を習得する場として、この学会が有意義なものになりますよう。このアジアインプラント学会を創設された乙部朱門先生の[アジア人の骨格はアジア人でなければ分からない。　アジア人のためのインプラント研究を]というご意志を継承し、ご参加の皆様とともにインプラントのリーダーとなるべく日々精進してまいりたいと思います。

最後になりますが、学会開催にあたりご協力いただきましたデンツプライ三金株式会社様に深く感謝申し上げます。

We would like to express our deep sympathy with people and their families who suffered from the disaster of the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11.

The 25th Asia Oral Implant Academy is about to be held.
We are very grateful to the great chairman, Dr. Fukai and to the members of executive committee for their earnest efforts enabling the academy to be held most actively with the participation of front-line doctors of Implantation from various countries in Asia including Japan amid these difficult times.

The technical innovation of the implantation in these years is truly remarkable. We hope the academy will prove to be the important occasion to exchange information and the place to acquire new techniques. While carrying out the wishes of Dr. Shumon Otobe who first founded the Asia Oral Implant Academy saying, “Only the Asian know the bones of Asian. We ought to have our own implantology for the Asian”, we are determined to continue our daily efforts to become leaders of implantation together with the participants.

Lastly, we would like to express our deep gratitude to the Dentsply-Sankin K.K. for being instrumental in holding the Academy.
